The Park Church 5K Healthy Soul Festival  Spring Sprint to Stomp Out Childhood Hunger is one event whose mission is to instill the value of health and fitness in everyone and to promote activities that celebrate the body temple in mind and spirit.  We know that healthy bodies produce brain power!  When you feed a mind, you save a future.

The goal of  the 5K run/walk was to  raise money to expand summer feeding programs, raise awareness of the connection between hunger and childhood obesity and work with children and families to help attain the best educational outcomes and opportunities for their futures.  A portion of the proceeds will benefit A Child’s Place in Charlotte.

Supporting educational outcomes for children with programs that erase hunger and promote preventive health, exercise and diet that lead to lifestyle changes is an important cause  and mission for the 5K Healthy Soul Festival  in support the community.
